Actually, I wanted to play during the week of 14 July did not play. But by then it was not quite as run around, and also had my share of 32nd Place at the Credit Suisse Challenge in Wylihof optimistic. And so I decided finally but for travel to Austria to MAN NÖ (Lower Austria) Open in Ramsau.

Is Tiger Woods’ popularity to blame for the recent increase in golf-related head injuries to children? Researchers in Augusta, Georgia, (home of the Masters Golf Tournament) think so. They were familiar with what happened after Tiger won his Masters Championship in 1997: four children suffered from golf-related head injuries within three months. Golf is usually considered a low level activity, but golfers often suffer serious injuries. Over 50% of touring professionals have had to stop playing because of injuries. The motion of a golf swing, if done incorrectly, can cause injuries in many parts of the body. A golf swing involves a large trunk rotation and requires you to move both shoulders through a wide range of motion at very high speeds. Unlike professionals, amateur golfers are not as conditioned to make these motions. However, both amateur and professional golfers commonly injure their backs, elbows, shoulders, and wrists. If you have injured any of these areas, you may need to be examined by your family doctor or orthopaedist.

Golf-induced injury to the knee is a relatively rare problem, accounting for less than 10 percent of all orthopedic golf injuries.

However, though golf may not be the root cause of many golf injuries, playing golf, particularly for those of us who walk the course, may aggravate preexisting knee problems, such as cartilage tears or knee arthritis. This is particularly true for the older player.
